Let's map the Open road together! Join us on Friday, May 30 at the 2025 Colorado OER Conference at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
The theme of the 2025 Colorado OER Conference is “Mapping the Open Road: Navigating the Future of OER.” At the conference, we will explore the shifting educational landscape, future of open educational practices, and collaboratively traveling the Open road. Conference Schedule
The program for the 2025 Colorado OER Conference is available in the schedule tab. We will map the open road together through 18 presentations, 4 workshops, 2 panels, lighting talks, and keynote speakers that will inspire and challenge us as we navigate the future of open educational resources.Presentation sessions will follow five simultaneous tracks: beginner, collaboration, STEM, student engagement, and sustainability. There are sessions for all experience and knowledge levels of open education!
The conference will run approximately 8:00 AM - 4:30PM on Friday, May 30. Attendees will be provided breakfast and lunch. Opening remarks begin at 9:0APM and closing remarks begin at 4:15PM.

Rural Pre-Conference
The 2025 Colorado OER Rural Pre-Conference will be held on Thursday, May 29 at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado. The rural pre-conference will provide professional development specific to rural institutions and cultivate a community among rural institutions in Colorado that will continue beyond the conference. It’s time for an adventure outside of Denver. The 2025 conference will bring the Colorado OER community to the beautiful University of Northern Colorado campus in Greeley! UNC has embraced open education across 30 departments while also making strides in culturally responsive teaching, course marking, and student involvement.
